A Better Morning Page

Three pages by hand is a lovely idea. Here is a version that survives a real life.

Most morning-page advice assumes a quiet house and an unhurried hour. I have a toddler and a kettle that whistles at the worst moment.

My version: ten minutes, one page, one question. What am I avoiding? The answer is usually the next thing to write.

Keep the pages. Not to reread, but to see the shape of your mind across a month.
